Turntables

Turntables
I am old enough to remember my Dual 1219 turntable, with a full twelve-inch platter, an extra-long rigid tonearm, and an ingenious head shell that would make changing the cartridge quite easy. I remember installing a Shure M91E cartridge and playing Cat Steven’s Moonshadow on my Dynaco ST70 amp and AR3a speakers. That was then, now digital electronics has taken over, or hasn’t it? Have you heard an LP lately? If you have not, you should. I just had the pleasure to play a few records on one of the newer Dual turntables, and guess what? They sounded fantastic! Come by when you have a chance and find out why turntables are still here and are going to be for a long, long time!
