Testimonials
2008
Dear Mr. Tiesenhausen,
I just wanted to write to you in relation to your employee at Commercial Electronics David Vanbuskirk. I have known David in a professional capacity for a number of years as he has provided service and A/V equipment to New Westminster Law Courts for a variety of court cases. I have always found David to have exemplary customer service skills and has been a pleasure to deal with.
I am writing this to convey my appreciation for the service he has recently provided to us. Recently on very short notice, David was requested to install a complicated system into courtroom 102 for a very High Profile trial. We had a number of different audio and video applications that needed to be considered when integrating equipment into the existing CCTV system. The system delivers audio and video to 6 other locations and it is a critical element in this trial. Of course with the world watching in this case, any mistakes in technology may end up being reported on the evening news or holding up court.
David adjusted his schedule and staff and attended 3 times to our location to set up these systems and as there were 3 sets of users (Defence, Crown and Court clerks) he also made sure everyone was comfortable in the technology.
On the final day of set up, which was the morning of court, David came in very early and dealt with technical issues. Near the end of the morning before court started, I decided that I really needed to change something and inquired if it could be done. (To tie 2 different PowerPoint presentations from 2 different laptops into the existing CCTV system in further way.) I did not give him much time, but he immediately thought it through, went into action and accomplished what I needed. This alleviated what I anticipated could have been a considerable problem.
It is those types of last minute requests from clients that can be frustrating and difficult but David focussed on a solution..not the problem. He quickly was able to envision what I was trying to convey and put it together quickly in his ever accommodating way.
The first day starting back on the trial went very smoothly from a technical standpoint, They even mentioned it in one TV news program.
It is David's "can do" attitude, confidence, professional and courteous manner that leaves a great impression with myself and many others I have spoken to over the years. As well, his top notch technical skills, ability to troubleshoot and understand the needs of his clients are qualities that make him the "Go to Guy" when it comes to Commercial Electronics.
Myself and other members on this trial team would once again like to express our thanks and appreciation to David Vanbuskirk and look forward to many more years of great service from Commercial Electronics.
Sincerely,
